- Master degree, PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, or comparable
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and process technology
- Problem solving skills and Six Sigma or 8D experience
- Programming experience and complex data analysis affinity

- Adaptability to fast changing environments and project work
- Confident writing and speaking in English and German
- Mind-set according to automotive standards in semiconductor industry
Tasks
- Monitor and improve manufacturing defect performance
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams
- Enhance process yield through defect engineering
- Perform physical failure analyses with specialized teams
- Conduct root cause analysis on defect events
- Manage material disposition and improvement activities
- Utilize advanced analysis methods like FIB and EDX
- Maintain defect-related databases and software applications
- Optimize inspection tools and engineering applications
- Report defect events to internal and external stakeholders
- Train operators and engineers on defect topics
- Implement AI and ML for automated decision making
