Designing and maintaining an AI provisioning platform with LLM observability and Datadog/Langfuse integration. Cloud infrastructure and Python/Go experience required. German language classes and relocation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or backend software development
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Proficiency in Python or Go programming language
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
  • Solid understanding of API cost management, rate limiting, security best practices, and data privacy for AI models
  • Experience with or strong willingness to learn LLM gateways, observability platforms, and telemetry (LiteLLM, Langfuse, Datadog)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Sense of humor
  • Ability to thrive in an ego-free environment
  • Embedded platform expert within a cross-functional Data Science and AI team

Tasks

  • Design and maintain AI provisioning platform
  • Streamline access to LLMs and MCP Servers
  • Implement LLM observability systems
  • Set up logging and alerting with Datadog and Langfuse
  • Enforce model governance
  • Ensure security and data privacy
  • Manage rate limiting and LLM API costs
  • Collaborate with AI Software Engineers
  • Support cloud-native architectures
  • Integrate agentic workflows
  • Monitor reliability of production AI systems
  • Maintain performance of AI systems
