Requirements
- •Advanced degree in electrical engineering, technical physics, or related field
- •PhD in medical ultrasound imaging preferred
- •Several years in medical ultrasound imaging after doctorate
- •Deep experience in ultrasound beamforming and B-mode processing
- •Proven track record in the physics of ultrasound and flow modes
- •Strong coding skills in production-grade C++ and GPU code
- •Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for prototyping
- •Track record of leading complex real-time systems to release
- •Experience working within medical-device QMS
- •Strong communication and collaboration skills

Tasks
- •Lead early-stage product development
- •Conduct feasibility studies and simulations
- •Design algorithms for tissue imaging
- •Develop flow measurement techniques
- •Mentor a team of specialized experts
- •Drive technical excellence across engineering
- •Set technical direction for imaging and flow pipelines
- •Own architecture and image quality strategy
- •Establish performance targets and risk posture
- •Collaborate with systems engineering and clinical product management
- •Partner with academic and industrial R&D teams
- •Guide development of architecture and specifications
- •Evaluate emerging research for clinical relevance
- •Shape long-term R&D strategy
- •Generate patents and assess third-party technologies
- •Guide make/buy decisions
- •Define technology partnerships and academic collaborations
