Requirements
- Completed degree in HR, Business Admin, Social Sciences, or equivalent, or commercial apprenticeship with HR qualifications
- Several years operational HR experience in international company
- Solid German labor law knowledge and experience with employee representatives
- Experience in collectively bargained environment (ideally metal/electrical industries)
- Confident handling of standard HR processes (employee life cycle)
- Team-oriented, communicative, trustworthy personality, strong advisory skills
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style
- Excellent MS Office skills and HR systems experience (ideally Workday)
- Openness to digital innovations, AI tools, process automation
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
Tasks
- Manage and develop operational HR activities
- Advise employees and managers on HR matters
- Lead employee meetings, reviews, and discussions
- Manage the full recruiting and onboarding process
- Create job postings
- Manage applicant processes
- Conduct interviews
- Prepare contracts and references
- Handle HR documentation
- Collaborate with local employee representatives under BetrVG
- Support HR for business units with collective bargaining
- Support HR for business units with co-determination
- Implement HR processes locally, regionally, and globally
- Optimize HR processes locally, regionally, and globally
- Harmonize HR processes locally, regionally, and globally
- Serve as the HR and payroll interface
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
- Contribute to HR development initiatives
- Manage training programs
- Conduct annual reviews
- Develop target agreements
- Implement succession planning
- Plan, organize, and execute HR projects and initiatives
