Requirements
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in demanding high-volume Manufacturing, Distribution or B2B organization
- Extensive experience conducting business on a regional level
- Experience with dispersed teams in a matrix organization
- Graduate/Post graduate degree in business administration, engineering, management or relevant field
- Experience in Supply planning strategy and execution governance operating models
- Experience leveraging scale, shared services and international flows
- Deep knowledge of S&OP processes
- Deep knowledge of supply planning (production planning and scheduling) processes
- Deep knowledge of inventory management processes
- Experience in planning system set-up/scale-up
- Problem solving skills through root cause analysis
- Data driven continuous improvement skills
- Tenacious character challenging the ‘status quo’
- Ability to manage upwards as well as downwards
- Continuous striving for improvements in ways of working
- Continuous striving for improvements in processes
- Continuous striving for improvements in approaches to service strategies
- Continuous striving for improvements in best practice inventory management
- Proficient in English
- Any other language is an advantage
Tasks
- Contribute to designing new end-to-end planning models
- Optimize inventory levels to meet company targets
- Enable synchronized planning across supply chain functions
- Support implementation of scalable planning processes
- Ensure planning master data supports decision-making
- Analyze Phase 0 data and define project plans
- Define planning strategies and run models
- Set inventory policies and targets
- Rebalance trade-offs between inventory and service
- Stabilize African supply flows
- Redesign planning processes including S&OP
- Implement new KPIs and dashboards
- Support seamless data transfer and master data readiness
- Train operational teams on new planning models
- Support scenario analysis and decision-making
- Translate data into actionable recommendations
