Team Leader for Investment Accounting in Private Equity and Capital Markets(m/w/x)

Anforderungen
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years in investment accounting focused on Private Equity, Real Estate or related fields
- Experience in accounting of special purpose vehicles
- Well-versed in German Commercial Code (HGB)
- IFRS knowledge desirable
- Familiarity with German corporate and tax law
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluency in English and German
- Solution-oriented, high-performance, team-oriented, and service-oriented
- Proficiency in common IT applications for financial accounting (DATEV, Addison, SAP, MS Office)
Aufgaben
- Lead and manage a team of investment accountants
- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports according to HGB and IFRS
- Prepare, post, and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance
- Integrate new companies by reviewing legal documents
- Reconcile, analyze, validate, and upload financial data
- Produce ad hoc reports as required by clients
- Manage team and individual deliverables
- Monitor and complete VAT returns and Bundesbank reports
- Train and develop accounting staff, providing feedback and support
- Delegate tasks for staff development and provide supervision
- Implement best accounting practices to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with customers, departments, banks, auditors, and advisors
