Systems Architect - Integrated Quantum Chip(m/w/x)
Architecting SiP modules for integrated quantum chips using diamond-based qubits, integrating quantum and classical processors at a quantum computer fabrication firm. PhD/Master's in relevant engineering/physics, with proven SiP/multi-chip module design and tape-out experience required. Cross-functional collaboration with quantum, RF/microwave, and packaging engineers.
Anforderungen
- PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience in system architecture and integration of complex electronic systems
- Proven experience in SiP or multi-chip module design, including successful tape-outs and transition to manufacturing
- Strong background in heterogeneous integration and system-level simulation
- Proficient with EDA/CAD tools and multi-physics simulation platforms
- Familiarity with quantum computing hardware architectures is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience in cross-functional engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Aufgaben
- Architect and define a SiP module for diamond-based quantum compute systems
- Integrate quantum and classical processors, quantum control electronics, and photonic circuits
- Translate quantum system-level requirements into SiP-level specifications
- Collaborate with quantum engineers, RF/microwave engineers, and packaging engineers
- Evaluate and select heterogeneous integration strategies for quantum-classical co-integration
- Lead risk assessment and performance validation efforts for SiP modules
- Deliver a balanced package architecture that meets performance goals and constraints
- Mentor a team of engineers and researchers in SiP module development
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and verification plans
- Contribute to intellectual property generation through invention disclosures
