System Operations Engineer(m/w/x)

Anforderungen

• University degree (or equivalent) in engineering or relevant discipline
• Proven experience in EO ground segments and system operations, preferably operational
• At least two years' experience in Earth Observation mission system operations, preferably operational
• At least two years' experience in complex EO ground segment system operations engineering
• Experience in verification and validation of complex EO ground segments
• Very good analysis, synthesis, and presentation skills
• Very good interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to apply skills in multi-disciplinary team interactions
• At least two years' experience with UNIX / Linux systems, preferably operational
• Ability to learn and develop skills for service operations
• Ability to rapidly absorb and use information from written/oral communications in dynamic context
• Mandatory fluency in English
• Advantageous knowledge of another European language
• Compliance with European and US (ITAR/EAR) export control laws
