Anforderungen
- Completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics, ideally with relevant further training.
- Very good knowledge of SAP TM or similar tools and MS Office.
- Secure handling of SAP (especially SAP ECC modules LE, SD, WM) is an advantage.
- Comprehensive operational experience in European transport control (FTL, LTL, Groupage) including carrier management.
- Ideally, knowledge of customs and/or dangerous goods handling.
- Analytical strength and strong process and optimization orientation (Lean methods are an advantage).
- Structured, KPI-based, and independent work style.
- Experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team (5 people).
- Includes prioritization, coaching, and operational control.
- Negotiation-level German and English skills.
Aufgaben
- Lead and develop a central transport function team
- Motivate and train team members
- Ensure efficient, standardized transport processes in Europe
- Optimize processes continuously using PDCA
- Manage KPIs focusing on cost, OTIF, data quality, delivery performance, and network optimization
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners
- Handle tendering, carrier management, and project implementations
- Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and documentation
- Coordinate customs-related issues
- Oversee daily operations including control tower, ticketing, and claims
- Conduct carrier reviews and manage special projects
