In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping product costing strategies and optimizing processes across various business areas. Your day-to-day activities will involve analyzing cost trends, developing methodologies, and leading international teams to ensure transparency and competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.

Anforderungen

• •Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• •Leadership experience of international/interdisciplinary teams
• •Extensive relevant experience in Product Costing or Cost Engineering
• •Expertise in product costing, profitability analysis, and value engineering/management
• •Proven experience in developing and automating costing tools and logics
• •Strong knowledge of SAP costing processes and logic
• •Experience in global governance and standardization of product cost evaluations
• •Deep understanding of cost drivers and evaluation parameters across the full product lifecycle
• •Ability to align evaluation approaches at top management level and manage global rollouts
• •Strong analytical and conceptual skills with international communication proficiency
• •Fluent in English language skills (both written and spoken), German language skills are an advantage

Aufgaben

• •Define and standardize global structures in Strategic Value Management
• •Continuously optimize processes, tools, and methods across all Business Areas
• •Support strategy development and roadmap planning within Strategic Value Management
• •Monitor long-term trends in product cost and value management
• •Analyze trends and provide recommendations for improvement
• •Develop a sustainable Product Costing strategy for the full product lifecycle
• •Design and harmonize core costing and evaluation processes across all Business Areas
• •Implement a global Product Costing Logic with automated GAP analysis
• •Integrate generic products into the costing logic using standardized approaches
• •Establish a single source of truth for key cost elements
• •Optimize costing processes during acquisition and quotation
• •Collaborate closely with SVM Systems & Standards
• •Develop and maintain a unified Product Cost Calculation framework
• •Implement standardized Make-or-Buy and Product Cost Benchmarking processes
• •Create templates and process descriptions for benchmarking
• •Develop methodologies for rapid cost indication
• •Roll out the Design-to-Value methodology across all Business Areas
• •Develop cost tracking tools for full cost transparency
• •Establish global governance for evaluation standards in Product Target Costing
• •Coordinate standardized product costing processes throughout the product lifecycle
• •Functionally lead international working groups on costing topics
• •Conduct training sessions and workshops for Target Costing teams
• •Create publications to promote best practices
• •Conduct benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities
• •Develop tools for transparent cost tracking and target achievement
• •Support the definition of cost targets in strategic projects
• •Continuously analyze product cost structures for competitiveness
