Anforderungen
- Background in remote sensing, geoscience, or geoinformatics
- Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or related field
- 4+ years relevant work experience in technical geospatial or remote sensing role
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Extensive Python programming for geospatial applications
- Apply code best practices for processing imagery, manipulating vector data, and building data pipelines
- Experience with solution design and requirement gathering
- Experience with product user story ideation
- Experience with solutions design documentation
- Experience with architecting and prototyping
- Proficiency with QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, ENVI or other common geospatial software
- Industry-specific knowledge in forestry, natural disasters, sustainability, and agriculture
- Familiarity with GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud-computing environments
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of efficient, metrics-based planning and delivery
- Experience using AI for productivity, coding, and demo app creation (e.g., Streamlit)
- Ability to run workshops or training sessions with users
- Direct work with end-user troubleshooting
- Advanced experience with machine learning algorithms for geospatial data
- Use of Claude and AI for geospatial application
- Working knowledge of modern cloud tools and pipelines
- Working knowledge of Google Functions, CI/CD integrations, Vertex AI and Amazon Bedrock
- Knowledge of Challenger methodology for liaising with clients
- Support clients and help them see what they are not seeing
- Guide clients on the solutions journey
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and its mapping libraries (OpenLayers, Leaflet, ArcGIS API for JavaScript)
- Working knowledge of web development frameworks like React

- Architect, design, and pilot solutions
- Transform customer requirements into solution architectures
- Align solutions with customer business and technology strategies
- Deliver workshops and tailored demo-apps
- Design user experiences for solution prototyping
- Continuously improve customer-facing applications
- Support pre-sales and customer expansions
- Ideate and design solutions using remote sensing and geospatial knowledge
- Leverage AI, machine learning, and image processing experience
- Act as technical lead in Agile solution development teams
- Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders for solution architecture
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on proposals
- Support bidding for civil government and commercial projects
- Own customer success lifecycle from scoping to delivery
- Champion Planet's products and offerings
- Provide training and present at conferences
- Write technical tutorials and publish articles
- Interact with users in the Education and Research program
- Source novel customer applications and insights
