- 7+ years software development/data engineering experience
- Experience designing scalable systems
- Strong Python skills (clean design, typing, testing, maintainable code)
- Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals
- Good SQL knowledge and database understanding
- Experience with modern Python data tools
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Team-first mindset, autonomy, and ownership
- Passion and curiosity for AI-assisted software development
- Based in Berlin, open to regular onsite work (3-4 days/week)
- Experience building developer-facing APIs, SDKs, or tooling
- Data Platform/Platform engineering or frontend engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with data platforms
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Bachelor's Degree
