Anforderungen
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Security Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales
- Strong understanding of public sector IT environments and procurement processes in Germany
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies, especially email security, DLP, and cloud protection
- Fluency in German and English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel across Germany for customer engagements
- Desire to work in sales and enthusiasm for cybersecurity and related security standards and frameworks like ISO, NIST, and MITRE
- Strong knowledge of underlying protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP
Aufgaben
- Serve as the technical face of Proofpoint for public sector engagements
- Collaborate with Account Executives to drive technical sales cycles
- Conduct discovery sessions and design solutions
- Deliver product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
- Architect and present Cyber Security solutions from Proofpoint’s portfolio
- Align solutions with public sector frameworks like BSI IT-Grundschutz and GDPR
- Provide technical input for public sector tenders and RFPs
- Build trusted relationships with IT security leaders and compliance officers
- Deliver workshops and webinars to educate customers on Proofpoint technologies
- Share insights from public sector engagements with Product Management
