In this role, you will lead the design of next-generation EV charging systems, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with customers and teams to integrate feedback, drive design improvements, and navigate the complexities of engineering challenges.

Anforderungen

• •7+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
• •Demonstrated mastery of DFM and DFS
• •Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
• •Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation
• •Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
• •Skilled in CAD design and technical documentation
• •Prior experience in EV charging or power electronics
• •Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Aufgaben

• •Lead mechanical and electrical design of EV charging systems
• •Ensure designs meet DFM and DFS standards
• •Develop reliable and cost-efficient designs aligned with IEC 61851-23 and UL 2231-1/-2
• •Conduct design reviews and structured risk assessments
• •Perform FMEAs to identify and mitigate potential issues
• •Create and maintain detailed 2D/3D CAD models and schematics
• •Develop BOMs and technical documentation
• •Support design integration and manufacturing readiness with customers
• •Facilitate smooth prototype-to-production transitions
• •Collaborate with field service teams to incorporate feedback into designs
• •Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in EV charging
• •Understand the impact of design choices on manufacturing and serviceability
• •Communicate effectively across functions including electronics and software
• •Solve complex engineering problems with hands-on and structured approaches
• •Adopt a pragmatic mindset: build early, test often, learn fast
• •Adapt between precision and speed based on design stage
• •Take ownership and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment
