Anforderungen

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Law, or related
  • 7-10 years experience in Vendor Management, TPRM, Procurement, or IT Service Management in financial services/banking
  • Proven track record in 1st Line of Defense function, owning operational processes and risks
  • Deep understanding of European/German banking regulations on outsourcing and IT security (DORA, EBA, MaRisk)
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex IT/BPO outsourcing contracts, including cloud agreements
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Business fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Industry-recognized risk management, audit, or service management certifications desirable
  • Strong ability to analyze complex vendor risk assessments, SOC reports, and financial metrics
  • Pragmatic and proactive approach to resolving vendor operational incidents and disruptions
  • Encouragement to apply even if not meeting all requirements

Aufgaben

  • Act as primary risk owner for third-party vendor relationships
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks
  • Ensure compliance with DORA requirements for ICT third-party relationships
  • Maintain the bank's Information Register for ICT third-party arrangements
  • Implement and monitor appropriate contractual provisions
  • Oversee the entire vendor lifecycle management
  • Conduct due diligence, onboarding, continuous monitoring, and exit strategies
  • Establish and negotiate strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key vendors
  • Drive performance and resolve operational issues
  • Negotiate vendor contracts with Legal and Procurement teams
  • Integrate robust regulatory clauses into contracts
  • Collaborate with 2nd Line of Defense for risk and compliance
  • Remediate audit findings and ensure tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
  • Serve as central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Advise senior management on vendor risk exposure and strategic sourcing
