Anforderungen
- At least 2 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering on Databricks
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with one additional high-level programming language
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (HANA, MS SQL, MySQL)
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and Operating Systems, and experience with Spark Clusters
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and basic skills in German
Aufgaben
- Implement and productionize ML-based services on Databricks using Python, SQL, and Linux
- Consult and enable cross-functional teams to build efficient and scalable big-data and data-science projects
- Take over production responsibility to ensure continuous business value
- Improve standard processes and best practices for services and projects on the platform
- Help reduce costs for services and projects
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Collaborate with adjacent teams on governance, infrastructure, data provisioning, and scheduling
- Work on CI/CD and data engineering topics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance software and service offerings
