In this role, you will tackle technical challenges by implementing ML services on Databricks, collaborating with teams to drive scalable projects, and continuously improving processes to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Anforderungen

• •At least 2 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering on Databricks
• •At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with one additional high-level programming language
• •Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (HANA, MS SQL, MySQL)
• •Advanced knowledge of Linux and Operating Systems, and experience with Spark Clusters
• •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• •Good communication and presentation skills in English and basic skills in German

Aufgaben

• •Implement and productionize ML-based services on Databricks using Python, SQL, and Linux
• •Consult and enable cross-functional teams to build efficient and scalable big-data and data-science projects
• •Take over production responsibility to ensure continuous business value
• •Improve standard processes and best practices for services and projects on the platform
• •Help reduce costs for services and projects
• •Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
• •Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
• •Collaborate with adjacent teams on governance, infrastructure, data provisioning, and scheduling
• •Work on CI/CD and data engineering topics
• •Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance software and service offerings
