In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring financial integrity by managing general accounting activities, overseeing compliance with local and international standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• •CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
• •Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial accounting
• •Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local German accounting standards
• •Experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination
• •Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
• •Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)

Aufgaben

• •Maintain US GAAP and local ledgers
• •Prepare and review journal entries
• •Perform account reconciliations
• •Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• •Ensure compliance with internal policies and local accounting standards
• •Review complex accounting transactions
• •Manage statutory accounting close and reconciliations under local GAAP
• •Coordinate statutory reporting calendar
• •Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and service providers
• •Support corporate income tax provision and return preparation
• •Perform transfer pricing documentation
• •Coordinate legal and tax-related projects
• •Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• •Create process flowcharts
• •Identify and implement process improvements
• •Serve as a key contact for complex accounting issues
• •Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments
• •Update regulatory filings including Bundesanzeiger and Transparency Register
