- Strong technical expertise in HGB
- Solid IFRS knowledge
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Experience managing audits
- Experience in SaaS or subscription models
- Experience with ERP implementations
- Deep understanding of inter-company accounting
- Fluency in German and English
Aufgaben
- Own the full month-end and year-end closing process
- Ensure technical compliance under HGB and IFRS standards
- Manage complex revenue recognition and inter-company accounting
- Handle provisions, accruals, and technical accounting documentation
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements
- Coordinate audit processes as the primary contact for auditors
- Review reconciliations and mentor junior team members
- Lead the accounting transition from DATEV to Workday ERP
- Design and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Manage consolidation readiness and inter-company eliminations
- Support SaaS subscription accounting and related reporting
