Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001) are a plus
- Minimum 5 years proven EHS experience in international/multinational environment
- Preference for healthcare, clinical, hospital, or life sciences sector experience
- Familiarity with radiation protection, biosafety, infection prevention and control
- Strong understanding of EHS regulatory requirements and best practices in EMEA
- Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and drive change
- Strong project and program management skills
- Experience coordinating external consultants and service providers
- Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required
- Additional languages highly desirable (Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch)
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout EMEA region
Aufgaben
- Serve as EHS partner for EMEA commercial operations and employees
- Foster partnerships with HR, Facilities, managers, and employees
- Collaborate with Global EHS, HR, Facilities, Legal, and business leadership
- Align EHS strategies with organizational objectives and business needs
- Drive regional EHS communication, training, and awareness campaigns
- Drive employee engagement for safety culture and wellbeing
- Monitor regulatory developments and interpret legal requirements
- Translate legal requirements into practical business solutions
- Develop, maintain, and improve risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Manage regional occupational health programs
- Select, coordinate, and oversee healthcare providers and EHS partners
- Lead EHS program, policy, and process implementation and improvement
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, corporate standards, and best practices
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance
- Support sustainability initiatives and property risk management
- Build, coordinate, and support a network of EHS contacts and providers
- Ensure effective execution of EHS programs and compliance
- Support EHS audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments
- Ensure timely closure of findings and improvement actions
- Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting
- Manage EHS expenditures and service providers
- Lead incident management, investigation, and root cause analysis
- Implement corrective actions and analyze trends to prevent recurrence
- Prepare and present EHS performance reports and compliance updates
- Present KPIs and strategic recommendations to leadership
