  • Oversee expense budgets and revenue targets
  • Act as the central escalation point for crises
  • Monitor the European Payment System for euro payments
  • Manage interactions with the European Central Bank
  • Lead Eurozone crisis management and governance forums
  • Develop and test euro-area incident simulations
  • Approve process changes relevant to the Eurozone
  • Participate in external regulatory working groups
