Anforderungen
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Natural Sciences, or related field
- Professional software development experience in enterprise software, planning, optimization, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing domains
- Strong C++ background with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, performance analysis, and maintainable code design
- Experience with SAP technologies (ABAP, SAP Fiori, CDS views, RAP, SQL, SAP S/4HANA architecture) or willingness to broaden SAP expertise
- Experience or strong interest in PP/DS, eSPP, Production Planning, Materials Management, service parts planning, detailed scheduling, or related supply chain planning processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex planning algorithms, business processes, and customer scenarios
- Senior mindset: ownership, technical leadership, high quality standards, clear communication, constructive collaboration, hands-on approach
- Fluent English communication skills; German language skills beneficial
Aufgaben
- Design and implement complex features for eSPP and PP/DS
- Ensure quality, maintainability, and performance of features
- Analyze and evolve planning and optimization components
- Work with SAP technologies including ABAP, SAP Fiori, CDS views, RAP, SQL
- Contribute to service parts planning, production planning, and detailed scheduling
- Develop forecasting, inventory planning, and simulation capabilities
- Create advanced analytics and integration with SAP S/4HANA
- Drive technical concepts and architectural improvements
- Refactor code and develop automated tests
- Conduct code reviews and root-cause analysis
- Prevent defects in mission-critical private cloud products
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and quality engineers
- Translate customer and roadmap requirements into solutions
- Act as a technical role model for junior developers
- Share knowledge and improve engineering practices
- Shape next-generation planning capabilities
- Develop AI-assisted planning experiences and embedded analytics
- Enhance modern SAP Fiori user experiences
- Deepen expertise in SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Planning
- Work on mass maintenance and enterprise search
- Provide Joule-based contextual assistance and guided planning experiences
