Anforderungen
- Minimum ten (10) years experience in Compliance or related field in aerospace and defense sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering or similar field
- Significant experience as Export Control Officer
- Strong knowledge of AWG, KWKG, EAR and ITAR, including government contract application
- Experience navigating BAFA’s ELAN-K2 portal
- High proficiency in developing relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Excel, Sharepoint
- High proficiency in analyzing large data amounts and synthesizing information
- Thorough knowledge of aviation compliance requirements in export controls and sanctions
- Willingness to join board of directors of German subsidiary and accept personal responsibility for export control compliance towards BAFA
- Fluent in German and English
- Knowledge of export control regulations outside EU is an advantage
- Proficient with trade compliance software and export control regulations application to IT systems
- Effective management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to synthesize information for executive briefings
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and contract terms
- Occasional domestic and international travel required
Aufgaben
- Manage compliance with German and EU export control regulations
- Assist with U.S., Canadian, and UK export control regulations
- Oversee export control compliance for aircraft parts and maintenance services
- Guide export control designated officials at various sites
- Provide export control guidance to internal teams
- Build and improve the Internal Compliance Program
- Identify requirements for export control policies and procedures
- Oversee export control licensing submissions
- Handle export licensing authorizations and approvals
- Communicate with export control agencies
- Approve transactions involving exemptions and exceptions
- Develop and present export-related training
- Issue regular communications on export control issues
- Determine effects of export control updates on Bombardier
- Manage application and implementation of export licenses
- Maintain records of export licenses and agreements
- Conduct regular internal audits
- Review denied party screening
- Stay current with export control and sanctions regulations
- Determine export classification of hardware, software, and technology
