In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements while preparing reports and managing month-end close activities. You will also collaborate with the Group Accounting team and support external audits, all while driving improvements in accounting processes.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• •At least 6 years of hands-on experience in general ledger accounting
• •Strong technical accounting knowledge under HGB
• •Solid understanding of IFRS
• •Practical experience in preparing statutory financial statements under HGB
• •Experience in group reporting packages under IFRS
• •Sound understanding of period-end closing processes
• •Solid experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA
• •Experience with OneStream for reporting and consolidation
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• •High attention to detail
• •Proactive and reliable
• •Hands-on approach
• •Ownership in day-to-day operational accounting
• •Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken

Aufgaben

• •Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements
• •Handle fair value and amortized cost accounting for financial instruments
• •Manage provisions and IFRS 16 lease accounting
• •Analyze M&A contracts and related agreements
• •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• •Compile IFRS reporting packages for group consolidation
• •Collaborate with the Group Accounting team
• •Execute month-end close activities, including accruals and provisions
• •Perform GL account analysis and reviews for balance sheet and P&L items
• •Coordinate and support external audits
• •Serve as a key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders
• •Act as a subject matter expert in SAP S/4HANA for GL topics
• •Drive continuous improvements and automation in accounting processes
