Anforderungen
- Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as accountant, or degree in finance/business administration
- Several years professional experience in financial accounting and annual accounts preparation (HGB and IFRS)
- In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards
- Very good knowledge of SAP FI-GL module (SAP S/4Hana desirable) and MS Office suite, especially Excel
- German (C1 level) and good English (B2 level)
- Strong aptitude for numbers, structured and analytical approach, excellent teamwork skills
- Sense of responsibility, commitment, reliability, and discretion
Aufgaben
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS)
- Record day-to-day business transactions accurately
- Clarify accounting issues (HGB and IFRS)
- Serve as General Ledger key user for IT
- Maintain SAP FI-GL module chart of accounts and balance sheet tables
- Manage interfaces to the Freudenberg Group reporting system
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Perform ad hoc analyses and meet deadlines
- Contribute to finance and accounting projects
