Anforderungen
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in business, law, foreign trade, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience (min. 5 years) in export control, trade compliance, or foreign trade
- Sound knowledge of relevant legal regulations (AWG/AWV, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EAR and ITAR)
- Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented work approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex issues clearly
- Very good German and good English skills
- Willingness to apply even if not all requirements are met 100%
Aufgaben
- Apply for, manage, and oversee export permits
- Ensure compliance with national and international laws (AWG, EAR, ITAR, EU-Dual Use VO)
- Advise on export control during sales and contract finalization
- Select and apply for correct export permits
- Approve shipments based on export control regulations
- Extend export permits as needed
- Prepare and evaluate inquiries and permits
- Consider legal, internal, functional, and economic aspects of permits
- Coordinate with relevant authorities
- Verify incoming permits for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor deadlines and value limits for consolidated export permits
- Analyze and monitor permit ancillary provisions
- Serve as a contact person during foreign trade audits
- Support the organization and execution of internal monitoring measures
- Conduct training sessions
