Anforderungen
- Master's degree in Sustainability Assessment, Environmental Management Accounting, or related field
- Relevant experience; electronics experience is an asset
- Proven quantitative data analysis experience
- Desirable experience with LCA software (openLCA, SimaPro, LCA for Experts) and databases (ecoinvent, Sphera)
- Proficiency in empirical research methods and statistics software
- Desirable understanding of systems thinking or resource interdependencies
- Familiarity with circular economy, resource efficiency, or environmental policy frameworks is an asset
- Proven record of publications is an asset
- Required experience in drafting complex reports, communications, and presentations
- Basic experience in trans-/interdisciplinary research
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in different contexts
- Demonstrates initiative, strong conceptual abilities and sound judgment
- Flexibility with ability to establish priorities and work within timeframes
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment
- Required fluency in English
- Desirable fluency in German
- Knowledge of another UN official working language is an asset
Aufgaben
- Design and conduct research activities
- Implement research on sustainability assessment
- Contribute to research publications
- Support Master’s thesis supervision
- Assist with e-learning and capacity development
- Prepare presentations and materials
- Organize capacity building activities
- Provide administrative and logistics support
- Implement administrative regulations and policies
- Respond to partner organizations
- Support stakeholder meetings
- Sort and process data
- Maintain research tools and platforms
- Communicate with external stakeholders
- Maintain stakeholder networks
- Represent UNU-FLORES at conferences
- Present research findings
- Translate research into policy briefs
- Promote Resource Nexus approach
- Engage in social media activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
