Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, European Law, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Energy Policy or relevant discipline
- 3-5 years relevant professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs, Legal, Compliance, Government Affairs or related function
- Strong understanding of European and German regulatory and policy frameworks
- Ability to analyse complex legislative and regulatory developments and translate into practical business recommendations
- Experience managing regulatory or policy workstreams and coordinating implementation
- Strong analytical, research and drafting skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple regulatory topics and priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across international and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with external legal counsel, industry associations, regulatory authorities, policymakers or institutional stakeholders is an advantage
- Knowledge of renewable energy sector, particularly solar PV, battery energy storage or related technologies, is highly desirable
- Knowledge or professional exposure to EU-China relations, EU trade and industrial policy, or regulatory environment affecting Chinese companies operating in Europe is a strong advantage
- Proficient German and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with regulatory intelligence, compliance-management or regulatory-tracking tools is an advantage
Aufgaben
- Monitor and assess EU and national regulatory developments.
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical business implications.
- Independently support selected regulatory workstreams.
- Evaluate and translate regulatory impacts into recommendations and actions.
- Independently manage selected regulatory topics.
- Coordinate regulatory topic implementation across relevant functions.
- Conduct regulatory and policy research.
- Prepare regulatory impact assessments, management briefings, compliance guidance, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support development and improvement of compliance frameworks, internal procedures, and governance documentation.
- Monitor policy and regulatory developments affecting the renewable energy sector.
- Follow EU-China economic, trade, and regulatory relations developments.
- Assess implications of EU-China relations for European operations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, industry associations, and regulatory advisors.
- Support participation in industry and regulatory discussions.
- Contribute to preparing company positions on regulatory topics.
- Maintain regulatory trackers, implementation records, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare regulatory updates and management briefings.
- Contribute to cross-functional regulatory projects.
- Support a strong regulatory and compliance culture.
