In this senior leadership role, you will oversee health, safety, and environmental programs across facilities in Germany and Austria, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement among staff and contractors.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor's degree in safety science, engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or chemical engineering
• •10+ years of relevant experience
• •Good comprehension of management systems (ex: ISO) and risk-based prioritization
• •Working knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations
• •Effective facilitation and communication skills
• •Recognizable leadership skills and ability to lead teams
• •Project management skills in organizing work and meeting deadlines
• •Ability to make engineering recommendations for safety improvements

Aufgaben

• •Manage health, safety, and environmental programs
• •Coach and influence staff on EHS&S practices
• •Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• •Develop and implement EHS&S programs and policies
• •Ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements
• •Maintain and monitor the compliance assurance system
• •Prepare compliance plans and conduct audits
• •Identify EHS&S training needs and deliver training programs
• •Develop and coach local EHS team members
• •Advise plant operations on regulatory and company requirements
• •Identify trends to reduce risks and improve EHS&S systems
• •Participate in product and process reviews
• •Perform industrial hygiene and environmental sampling
• •Coordinate monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance
• •Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
