As a Project Manager in data center construction, you will oversee project costs and schedules while managing contractors and vendors. Your role involves ensuring the timely delivery of equipment, leading meetings, and advocating for the client throughout the project lifecycle.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in Construction Management or related field
• •Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Data Centre or mission-critical projects
• •Solid knowledge of Structural, Civil, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Low Voltage scopes of work
• •Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
• •Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to multi-task effectively
• •Entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented attitude
• •Fluent language skills in German and English

Aufgaben

• •Manage project costs, schedules, and budgets
• •Oversee general contractors, vendors, and consultants
• •Track and manage critical project milestones
• •Review construction proposals, pricing, and scopes
• •Assess work-in-place and approve capital expenditures
• •Review and approve cost-loaded schedules
• •Lead client and project meetings
• •Identify and monitor factors affecting construction costs
• •Apply knowledge of procurement methods and long-lead equipment
• •Validate and audit contractor cost estimates
• •Support engineering decisions during design-build changes
• •Review and approve payment requests and invoices
• •Ensure equipment delivery aligns with the project schedule
• •Record potential claims and act on behalf of the client
• •Advocate for the client in disputes, change orders, and modifications
• •Coordinate scheduling consultant reviews
• •Oversee project close-out, including documentation and warranties
