As a Product Developer in Film Extrusion technologies, you will focus on creating and optimizing sustainable film products, conducting experiments, and collaborating with teams to ensure quality and functionality in addressing global plastic pollution.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in polymer science, material science, chemical engineering, or similar
• •5+ years of experience in biopolymer-based product and features development
• •5+ years of technical experience in the (bio)polymer converting industry with specialization in film extrusion processes
• •Strong technical understanding of natural polymer structures and processing techniques
• •Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented mindset
• •Proven track record of delivering projects on time and at required quality standards
• •Excellent decision-making skills and analytical thinking
• •Team player with excellent communication skills
• •Entrepreneurial spirit and reliability
• •Down-to-earth, direct, with a sense of humour
• •Proficiency in spoken and written English and ideally German

Aufgaben

• •Develop and optimize film formulations using traceless materials
• •Design structured experiment plans and document trials
• •Evaluate data to derive clear development directions
• •Coordinate and perform material and film testing
• •Investigate relationships between material structure and film properties
• •Translate application requirements into film structure and process settings
• •Plan and execute lab, pilot, and production-scale extrusion trials
• •Create and maintain technical documentation for products and processes
• •Prepare and accompany scale-up and validation runs on extrusion lines
• •Collaborate cross-functionally to align on capabilities and customer needs
