- Master's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Computing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field

- Spoken and written English or French, with commitment to learn other language
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Professional background in Computing or Automation Engineering (or related field)
- Master's degree with 2 to 6 years post-graduation professional experience
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- Work in Radiation Areas
- Interventions in underground installations
- Valid driving licence
- Exposure to electromagnetic fields under certain conditions
- Medical clearance for occupational health risks
Aufgaben
- Contribute to control system design
- Develop control systems using GitLab CI
- Implement control systems with CERN frameworks
- Commission control systems
- Review process control logic
- Propose improvements to control logic
- Install control hardware on site
- Commission control hardware
- Maintain control system configuration data
- Insert configuration data into CERN databases
- Collaborate with CERN service providers
- Resolve issues with CERN service providers
- Share best practices with CERN service providers
