- Linux and container technology knowledge
- Software testing, diagnosing, and optimisation
- Monitoring and troubleshooting operational software systems
- Spoken and written English
- Commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- University degree required
- PhD not eligible
Aufgaben
- Contribute to software development for accelerator control
- Test and validate control system components
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Support daily accelerator operations
- Diagnose and resolve operational problems
- Work with physicists and accelerator operators
- Collaborate with software engineers in BE-CSS group
- Engage with CERN Accelerators & Technology sector
