In this role, you will lead the development of innovative statistical methods while mentoring researchers and collaborating across teams. Your work will focus on integrating complex datasets to enhance the understanding of organoid behaviors and therapy responses.

Anforderungen

• •Thriving in a dynamic, inclusive environment
• •Ph.D. studies completed no less than 7 years ago
• •Leadership in advanced statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science
• •Extensive experience in statistical approaches in computational biology
• •Track record in mentoring trainees in data science workflows
• •Proficiency in Python/Matlab/R and familiarity with scientific frameworks
• •Outstanding communication skills and strong passion for science
• •Ability to create and execute projects independently

Aufgaben

• •Establish cutting-edge statistical methods for organoid development
• •Supervise 2-3 postdoctoral fellows and graduate students
• •Conduct research in causal inference and multivariate statistics
• •Integrate cell-level imaging and genomic datasets with simulations
• •Mentor data scientists and trainees in specialty research areas
• •Support IHB Analytics and Digital IHB teams
• •Coordinate research direction with IHB’s co-director in Computational Biology
• •Collaborate independently with all IHB groups
• •Build strong relationships with statisticians and data scientists at Roche’s CS CoE
