In this role, you will be at the forefront of defining and validating advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with experts, developing innovative integration concepts, and ensuring rigorous testing to enhance the driving experience.

Anforderungen

• •Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable experience
• •5+ years hands-on experience in system integration, verification, and validation of real-time and safety critical ADAS/AD systems
• •Core expertise in system level testing including related ecosystems, processes, methods, and tools
• •Good understanding of Functional Safety (ISO26262), Safety of the intended Functionality (ISO21448) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434)
• •Good understanding of requirement and test management tools, such as provided by IBM Jazz platform
• •Good understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, Flexray, Automotive Ethernet, GMSL
• •Strong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• •Driven, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• •Strong sense of ownership with an analytical, results-driven, and goal-oriented mindset
• •Technical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people
• •ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level or comparable certification
• •Advanced understanding of ADAS/AD sensors & actuators
• •Advanced understanding of technology and trends inside the system validation domain
• •A valid class B driving license, high-dynamic driving certification, and ADAS failure injection certification or equivalent certifications
• •Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestic and international travel
• •Willingness to work in a diverse, international, and continuously improving environment
• •Willingness to work in the office at Garching

Aufgaben

• •Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms
• •Develop concepts to integrate, verify, and validate ADAS systems
• •Derive system tests and execute impact analyses
• •Design scalable ADAS integration concepts for Central Compute Units
• •Lead the development and maintenance of the validation ecosystem
• •Develop strategies for integrating and validating ADAS systems
• •Ensure execution of system integration and validation activities
• •Collaborate with SMEs, customers, and suppliers on ADAS design
• •Derive and maintain structured test cases from system requirements
• •Identify opportunities for automation in testing workflows
• •Manage logistical and technical alignments with internal teams
• •Coordinate test vehicle authorization across geographies
• •Support hands-on testing and provide technical guidance
• •Conduct performance benchmarking against industry standards
