- Academic track record in deep learning, high-performance computing or parallel algorithms
- Experience in data science for natural sciences and engineering
Aufgaben
- Develop parallel and distributed 3D image processing algorithms
- Design scalable deep learning models for segmentation
- Adapt Transformer and U-Net models for landmark detection
- Optimize existing approaches within the HeAT software framework
- Implement solutions on GPU-based HPC systems
- Apply methods to synchrotron and neutron imaging data
- Maintain high-quality, reproducible research code
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed venues
- Collaborate closely with domain scientists
