Aufgaben
- Familiarize yourself with stellarator plasma edge magnetic geometry
- Investigate island internal fieldline pitch and magnetic shear
- Analyze island size across the island resonance
- Evaluate divertor performance based on magnetic variables
- Conduct EMC3-Eirene simulations to optimize target shape
- Determine optimal target locations through simulation
- Research relevant plasma physics for divertor optimization
- Collaborate intensively with experts in Garching and Greifswald
- Conduct frequent site visits to coordinate research efforts
