Anforderungen

  • •PhD in cellular biology, stem cell biology, tissue bioengineering, or relevant field
  • •Hands-on expertise in tissue bioengineering, hydrogels, and human models of the lung
  • •Experience in design and execution of projects modeling airway relevant biology in vitro
  • •Methods for phenotyping complex tissues using tissue clearing, imaging, single cell technologies, flow cytometry, and microscopy
  • •Strong critical thinking, communication, organization, and presentation skills

Aufgaben

  • •Design and execute projects modeling airway-relevant biology
  • •Utilize in vitro methods for studying COPD, infectious diseases, and inflammation
  • •Phenotype complex tissues using tissue clearing techniques
  • •Conduct whole-mount imaging and single-cell technologies
  • •Perform flow cytometry and high-resolution microscopy
  • •Expand expertise in human airway models and related biology
  • •Leverage Roche R&D ecosystem for hypothesis generation and model evaluation
  • •Convert organoid-based models into assays for drug development
