Anforderungen
- Extensive experience overseeing global payroll operations in scaling environments, managing external payroll provider relationships
- Deep foundational knowledge in finance, HR, law, or economics as applied to payroll operations
- Global payroll coordination experience with focus on Germany and DACH region
- Excellent working knowledge of global payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent communication in German and English
- Background managing international payroll or tax advisory, and integrating HRIS platforms with payroll systems
- Effective guidance skills, direct communication, and commitment to continuous professional growth and learning
Aufgaben
- Build, oversee, and develop payroll operations.
- Provide legislative guidance to the business.
- Deliver a high-trust employee payroll experience.
- Oversee end-to-end global payroll processing.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors.
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll results.
- Guide and develop Payroll Specialists and partners.
- Establish high performance and operational standards.
- Maintain integrity of employee pay data.
- Identify and resolve complex payroll issues.
- Apply root-cause analysis to issues.
- Design and build the payroll support model.
- Build and maintain a rigorous control environment.
- Ensure external provider compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage process documentation, approvals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare audit-ready evidence.
- Manage and conduct payroll and social security audits.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on audits.
- Architect payroll workflows using automation and AI.
- Improve payroll speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
