- Sophisticated understanding of global patent prosecution strategy and process
- Strong curiosity about international IP/patent laws
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Shown English language skills
- Knowledge of additional languages, particularly German
- Finely honed interpersonal skills
- Resilience, humility, problem-solving attitude, and self-reflection
- Ability to work collaboratively in self-organized teams
- Well-structured, reliable, and detailed style of work
- Well-developed analytical and writing skills
Aufgaben
- Harvest inventions proactively
- Draft and file patent applications with scientists
- Review planned publications
- Manage patent prosecution and maintenance
- Defend and enforce patent rights
- Advise on patent strategies for development products
- Manage patent portfolio and support decision-making for filings
- Perform freedom to operate analysis
- Evaluate contract terms related to IP
- Coordinate with Legal and Licensing on drafting and negotiating contracts
