Aufgaben
- Secure network transitions
- Implement security policies
- Integrate firewalls into existing networks
- Monitor and operate network security processes
- Ensure smooth, secure, and highly available operation of Check Point firewall infrastructure (on-prem, virtual, cloud-adjacent)
- Develop firewall architecture, considering security, compliance, and corporate policies
- Manage network transitions (perimeter, DMZ, inter-VLAN) with Check Point Security Gateways
- Maintain and develop security policies, NAT rules, and VPN structures
- Ensure stable interaction between firewalls, LAN, and adjacent security components
- Manage and technically coordinate external firewall and security service providers
- Operate, maintain, and use company-wide monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Check Point SmartEvent, log servers, SIEM)
- Ensure complete documentation, versioning, and backup of Check Point configurations
- Process incidents, changes, and service requests in first and second-level firewall/security support
- Analyze and rectify faults, troubleshooting at package, session, and policy level
- Document work results
- Use and maintain knowledge management platforms
- Participate in standardizing and automating firewall and security operational processes
