Anforderungen
- Certified Level 3 according to EN 4179 / NAS 410
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – required
- Penetrant Testing (PT) – required
- Visual Testing (VT) – required
- Eddy Current Testing (ET) – preferred
- X-Ray testing (RT) - preferred
- Additional Level III certification according to ASNT-TC-1A (ASNT Level III) or ISO 9712 is highly preferred
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace, space, defense, or similarly demanding industries
- Proven expertise in inspection of composite materials and welded aerospace structures
- Knowledge of automated or advanced NDT systems is a strong asset
- Ability to interpret aerospace drawings, technical specifications, and standards
- Strong documentation, reporting, and procedure-writing skills
- English fluency (working language)
- Balance of hands-on operational mindset and strategic vision
- Autonomous, structured, and motivated to build a new capability from scratch
- Open, collaborative, and comfortable working in an international environment
Aufgaben
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on critical aerospace components
- Supervise NDT activities using UT, PT, ET, and VT methods
- Conduct inspections to ensure product conformity during initial operations
- Define and validate NDT techniques per EN 4179 / NAS 410 standards
- Approve NDT techniques based on customer-specific requirements
- Develop inspection procedures and maintain traceability of results
- Lead the implementation of automated and advanced inspection systems
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to address non-conformities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NDT process
- Contribute to the establishment of the NDT department, including training and mentoring Level 2 inspectors
