Media Relations Manager(m/w/x)

In this role, you will engage with the media by monitoring trends and identifying visibility opportunities for FSC. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting press materials, managing media inquiries, and supporting crisis communication efforts to uphold the reputation of FSC.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in a relevant field
• •At least five years of professional experience working with journalists
• •Experience in development and management of communications strategies
• •Good time management skills
• •Solution oriented attitude to work

• •Project management experience
• •Strong sense for diligence and accuracy
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Proven ability to plan and organize work independently
• •Standard software packages (MS Office)
• •Adobe Creative Cloud skills are a plus
• •Native English speaker
• •Other languages are a plus
• •Exceptional writing skills
• •Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• •Experience in managing crisis communications
• •Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relations
• •Ability to respond quickly and decisively to media requests and issues

Aufgaben

• •Support proactive engagement in public debates by monitoring media narratives
• •Identify opportunities for FSC visibility
• •Assist in organizing press briefings and media engagements
• •Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
• •Draft and distribute press releases and media responses
• •Monitor and summarize emerging issues that could affect FSC's reputation
• •Support the development of recommended communication actions
• •Contribute to crisis communication plans and protocols
• •Serve as the first point of contact for routine media inquiries
• •Prepare briefing materials, Q&As, and talking points for spokespersons
• •Maintain and update messaging and issue-specific talking points
• •Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
