- BSc degree in Biology, Neurobiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field

Aufgaben
- Characterize tau-specific antibodies recognizing low-n tau oligomers
- Map antibody epitopes within the tau repeat domain (RD)
- Express tau RD deletion constructs in HEK cells
- Assess antibody binding by Western blotting
- Assess antibody binding by immunofluorescence
- Analyze selected regions by mutagenesis for epitope mapping
- Test tau RD constructs for seed-induced aggregation
- Assess aggregation using sedimentation assays
- Generate stable cell lines by lentiviral transduction
- Perform image-based tau seeding assays
- Perform mammalian cell culture of HEK cells
- Perform transient transfection of tau RD constructs
- Perform lentiviral transduction and generation of stable cell populations
- Perform Western blotting for tau construct expression and antibody binding
- Perform immunofluorescence staining and confocal microscopy
- Perform epitope mapping using deletion constructs
- Perform site-directed mutagenesis for finer epitope mapping
- Perform biochemical sedimentation assays to separate tau fractions
- Perform image-based aggregation assays and quantification
