Anforderungen

  • Management experience
  • Master's degree in business, economics, or engineering
  • Several years of commercial leadership in account management and sales, preferably in services/aftersales, turbine sales, or long-term service-based business models
  • Proven people leadership, including leading leaders or senior sales professionals
  • Track record of delivering sustainable business results through teams, with strong governance over complex, long-cycle deals
  • Strong financial acumen and entrepreneurial approach to value engineering and customer value proposition
  • Professional English and German skills, verbal and written
  • Ability and willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Committed leader with positive mindset and energy, able to inspire, align, and develop leaders and teams
  • Strong customer and employee orientation, service-minded, collaborative, solution-oriented leadership approach
  • Ability to set direction, prioritize at scale, and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interest in renewable energy industry, robust understanding of economics, finance, and contractual risk
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of steering complex discussions across senior internal and external interfaces
  • International mindset, experienced in leading across cultures and markets

Aufgaben

  • Lead and develop a diverse team of Service Sales Managers
  • Focus on performance management, capability building, and succession planning
  • Act as strategic advisor and escalation point for key customer relationships
  • Ensure customer ownership and commercial accountability within the sales team
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders across various departments
  • Align commercial strategy with execution across regions
  • Drive professionalization and continuous improvement of service account management
  • Implement governance, deal quality, pricing discipline, and customer segmentation
  • Steer and prioritize sales of long-term service contracts and aftermarket products
  • Manage a structured pipeline and portfolio for service sales
  • Ensure strong market intelligence and forward-looking demand understanding
  • Identify and co-develop untapped opportunities with regional and global functions
  • Establish structured leadership, coaching, and process governance
  • Ensure high-quality adoption of Vestas' commercial processes
  • Challenge and improve existing ways of working
