As a Lead System Engineer, you will oversee system engineering activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements while optimizing designs. This role involves preparing technical documentation, participating in customer meetings, and developing innovative calculation methods to enhance project efficiency.

Anforderungen

• •Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• •Full proficiency in written and spoken English; preference for German
• •Proficiency with ATP modelling
• •3 years of HVDC cable system engineering
• •5 years specific experience in HVDC cable business; HVAC cables as a plus
• •Experience in design and engineering of High Voltage cables and systems
• •Knowledge of design calculation methods and computer solutions
• •Detailed understanding of relevant national and international standards
• •Ability to combine technical knowledge with communication and liaison skills

Aufgaben

• •Lead system engineering activities for the project
• •Coordinate with the project team to meet quality and time expectations
• •Prepare technical documentation for customers and specifications for internal or subcontractor use
• •Participate in meetings with customer representatives to ensure compliance with requirements
• •Produce detailed cost estimates for materials and services
• •Support the preparation of formal documentation for cable manufacturing and installation
• •Work on specific design aspects not fully defined at the offer stage
• •Optimize cable and system design to reduce project costs
• •Participate in technical presentations, conferences, seminars, and workshops
• •Develop new calculation procedures and computer methods for technical proposals
• •Ensure all calculations and procedures comply with technical and quality standards
