Anforderungen
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years experience as Responsible Electrical Person or comparable senior leadership
- Extensive expertise in high/medium-voltage systems operation/maintenance
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical infrastructure and power systems
- Experience in offshore wind farm operations (ideal)
- Practical knowledge of substations, preferably offshore
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations (VDE, DGUV, BetrSichV, BEK, NEN)
- Experience standardizing technical organizations
- Experience standardizing operational processes and governance
- Experience in international environment
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Continental Europe
- Medical fitness for occasional offshore assignments
- Excellent written/spoken German skills
- Excellent written/spoken English skills
- Additional languages considered an advantage
Aufgaben
- Hold overall electrical responsibility for offshore operations
- Consolidate decentralized electrical responsibilities
- Establish consistent electrical standards across all sites
- Lead the electrical organization in collaboration with local Site REPs
- Act as Lead Expert for high- and medium-voltage systems operation and maintenance
- Define maintenance strategy for critical electrical assets
- Establish a harmonized fleet-wide approach for maintenance
- Balance commercial considerations and country-specific regulatory requirements
- Assume central technical and supervisory responsibility for offshore operations
- Establish standardized reporting to executive management
- Further develop a legally compliant and harmonized electrical organization
- Ensure clear governance between Lead REP and Site REPs
- Consider local regulatory requirements and TSO requirements
- Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of all electrical assets
- Focus on high- and medium-voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, and cable systems
- Define, harmonize, and implement electrical engineering standards
- Define, harmonize, and implement operational procedures
- Define, harmonize, and implement standardized training and competency development concepts
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and professional development for Site REPs and Electrical Operations Engineers
- Plan and manage technical audits at offshore wind farms and critical service providers
- Work closely with HSE, Engineering, Procurement, TSOs, and external partners
- Analyze market developments, electrical incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Translate findings into innovative maintenance strategies
- Translate findings into sustainable continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent RWE in internal and external committees
- Contribute expertise to the continuous improvement of operational processes
- Contribute expertise to the continuous improvement of maintenance strategies
- Actively shape future industry standards
