In this role, you will be the go-to person for troubleshooting technical issues in metrology systems, while also developing solutions and optimizing processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Anforderungen

• •Completed vocational training and further qualification as a technician or bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• •At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable technical environment
• •Technical understanding and practical aptitude
• •Independent, structured working style with high self-organization
• •Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as teamwork orientation
• •Experience with CAD software advantageous, ideally complemented by experience in 3D printing
• •Willingness to travel occasionally internationally (up to about 10%)
• •Fluent in German and English

Aufgaben

• •Act as the main contact for manufacturing and service during troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the assembly and commissioning of complex metrology systems
• •Develop and present concepts and solutions for technical problems using systematic methods (e.g., 8D) to management and the service team
• •Create and maintain manufacturing documentation continuously
• •Develop, optimize, and maintain process workflows
• •Coordinate technical changes to bill of materials
• •Qualify first sample parts and successor products for end-of-life components
• •Provide on-site support ('Fly-and-Fix') during escalations requiring in-depth product knowledge
• •Collaborate with development, quality, and purchasing departments to resolve component issues, improve supplier quality, and reduce costs
