- Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as teamwork orientation
- Experience with CAD software advantageous, ideally complemented by experience in 3D printing
- Willingness to travel occasionally internationally (up to about 10%)
- Fluent in German and English
Aufgaben
- Act as the main contact for manufacturing and service during troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the assembly and commissioning of complex metrology systems
- Develop and present concepts and solutions for technical problems using systematic methods (e.g., 8D) to management and the service team
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation continuously
- Develop, optimize, and maintain process workflows
- Coordinate technical changes to bill of materials
- Qualify first sample parts and successor products for end-of-life components
- Provide on-site support ('Fly-and-Fix') during escalations requiring in-depth product knowledge
- Collaborate with development, quality, and purchasing departments to resolve component issues, improve supplier quality, and reduce costs
