Intern - Power Systems and Grid-tied Inverter Control(m/w/x)
In this role, you'll bridge the gap between simulation and real-world testing by developing advanced control algorithms and verifying inverter performance under diverse grid conditions.
Anforderungen
- Enrollment in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Knowledge of power systems or grid-tied inverter control
- Experience handling high power inverter tests
- Good knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Basic knowledge of DigSilent, Plecs, or similar platforms
- Ideally, experience in control system design for power electronic inverters
- Structured working style, initiative, and creativity
- Teamwork, communication skills, and motivation
- Enthusiasm and quality orientation
- Fluent written and spoken English
Aufgaben
- Simulate grid-tied inverter control for PV and battery storage
- Develop control and diagnostic algorithm models using MBD tools
- Provide technical insight for grid-forming inverter control
- Support technical cooperation regarding power systems and inverter control
- Collaborate with headquarters to test and verify inverter performance
