- Master or PhD student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Experience with common neural network architectures and theory
- Familiarity with internal architectures and mechanisms
- Excellent programming skills in Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Pandas
- Ability to independently conduct research and literature investigation
- Communication skills, adaptability, and quick independent learning
- Fluency in written and spoken English

- Develop solutions for safety-relevant AI systems
- Investigate literature on critical neural network elements
- Identify and implement research-based prototypes
