- 5+ years of professional IT experience
- High understanding of contemporary hardware/software architectures
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field
- Extensive experience designing/implementing secure enterprise IT/cloud architectures
- Focus on integrating security across full solution lifecycle
- Strong ability to apply threat modelling and risk assessments
- Strong ability to apply secure design principles
- Ensure resilient, compliant, and risk-aligned solutions
- Proven track record translating business objectives to secure technical architectures
- Enable innovation while maintaining robust cyber resilience
- Experience working with enterprise architects, development teams, business stakeholders, and operational security units
- Embed security into IT and business projects from inception to deployment
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA) highly desirable
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to present complex security topics to technical/non-technical audiences
- Drive secure-by-design mindset across teams
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Ability to assess technical risk and evaluate trade-offs
- Recommend secure, practical solutions in complex environments
- Understanding of international standards and best practices (ISO27001, ITIL, COBIT, NIST)
- Understanding of regulatory environment
- Technological IT security background (network, OS, application, cloud)
- Strong analytical skills
- Consultancy experience
- Management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish relationships across all business areas
- Act in a consultative manner to identify security requirements
- Intertwine security needs with organizational goals
- Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
